CHIMPANZEE TRACKING IN GOMBE NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Dar es Salaam - Gombe National Park

Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After breakfast you will be picked up from your Dar Es Salaam Hotel by a representative from Safari & Holiday Makers Ltd for safari briefing and 2 way Precision air flight tickets Dar es Salaam/ Kigoma/Dar es Salaam are handled to you and you are transferred to the airport. You board your morning 0650hrs flight to Kigoma via Mwanza. On arrival in Kigoma airport at 1140hrs you will be met by a representative from Safari & Holiday Makers Ltd and transferred to Kigoma Town have your lunch and you depart Kigoma by boat and you sail to Gombe Stream National Park which will take at least 2 hours from Kigoma. On arrival in the afternoon in Gombe you check in at Kasekela Rest house for afternoon relaxation on the beach of Lake Tanganyika with overnight Full Board.

Day 2: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park

Accommodation & Meals: Shuhudia Adventure Camp B, L, D.

After breakfast leave Tarangire with parked lunch and drive to an on route game drive from Ngorongoro conservation area to Serengeti national park with optional ($60/group) visit of Maasai village, and optional ($36/person) visit to Olduvai Gorge. Afternoon game drives in search for the predators and the herbivores the feed on the Serengeti Savannah.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Activities: Game drives
Accommodation & Meals: Shuhudia Adventure Camp B, L, D.

After breakfast, we leave with picnic lunch for a full day game drive in Serengeti in search for large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed in the rolling plains of Serengeti savannah. The Park contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale, which has no parallel anywhere in the world. There is abundance of herbivores. Serengeti is also famous for lions and contains a wide variety of birdlife, believed to be in the region of 350 species, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work.

Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Accommodation & Meals: B, L

After breakfast, leave with picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater exploring the short grass plains of the largest intact caldera in the world. The crater enjoys its enduring charm stems from the overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many games, then later in the late afternoon leaves the crater and drive back to Arusha then we proceed to the airport for your flight back home.
